Since studying under Andrew Wilson and Andrew Fisher-Tomlin, directors of LCGD, Michele spent a short time volunteering with Cityscapes. The not-for-profit organisation creates innovative temporary and permanent parks, gardens and installations in partnership with London's major cultural institutions.

Michele then decided to invest time in developing her own garden design practice in London and the Cotswolds, working on smaller London gardens and larger rural landscapes.

Michele’s passion for horticulture and the outdoors began on her travels where she began to absorb the backdrops of the South American jungle, African bush and more cultivated European vistas. Photographing ecosystems was one way for Michele to sharpen her eye and take that inspiration home. Creating outdoor spaces back at home that could provide the same sense of engagement with nature was her aim. A place to escape, encounter flora and fauna and taste the fruits of one’s labour.

Today Woodsford Landscapes takes pride in providing a bespoke garden design service from initial consultation, design sketches, detailed planting and construction plans through to project managing the build and maintenance. Michele will deliver to you, classic gardens designed for contemporary living.

Woodsford Landscapes works closely with the countries leading contractors, engineers and specialist plant nurseries to ensure a beautiful result. We are a member of the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) the only professional association for garden designers in the UK and counts some of the UK’s leading landscape designers among its growing membership.
